Toward the end of 2008 I started to think, if students are engaged with their online world, networking and sharing thoughts with each other, can this transfer into their academic studies?
With applications such as Facebook it’s clear that it provides an easy way to see what friends are doing and to feel part of their activities. Perhaps you wouldn’t choose to do this for your studies but Graphics is a fairly vocational subject, something that you engage in rather than carry out. The blog simply set up to create not only a space for peer review and discussion, but to define what is, and isn’t, acceptable in the space.
