In 1995 Connolly Leather launched it’s own brand of luxury leathergoods, the inaugural collection consisting of 32 pieces. Working with a team of specialists I developed, along with designer Ross Lovegrove, items to establish the brand alongside such well known names as Hermés and Louis Vuitton.
The range was sold initially through a specialist outlet in Belgravia, in 1999 the leathergoods business was sold to Joseph Ettedgui and the collection is still available from the store in Conduit Street.
Following the launch of the collection, and the receipt of a D&AD Silver award in 1996, I continued to develop additional items for the range including a semi-soft briefcase.
